Our Brewers are primarily responsible for all brewery functions and needs. The ideal candidate will possess a love of Pinthouse beer and a desire for upward growth and new challenges in a fast-growing brewpub. This would be a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of 15bbl brewhouse
- Cellar functions
- Beer transfers
- Dry-Hopping
- FV CIP
- Carbonation
- SV CIP
- Maintain all brewlogs and transfer logs with excel spreadsheets
- Cleaning and filling kegs
- Safe handling of brewery chemicals for CIP
- Safely use a ladder or forklift and man basket for dry hopping and/or tank cleaning and breakdown
- Milling and grain inventory maintenance
- Brewery cleaning and maintenance as directed by the Head Brewer.
- Support brewery staff as directed by the Head Brewer
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or education in the brewing industry
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Maintain flexible hours
- Ability to attend and work outside events and tasting room operations
- Education in Fermented Science or Related Field
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal direct supervision
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

PTO
Hourly team members start accruing up to 5 days PTO a year after the first 3 months. Salaried team members can accrue up to 15 days.

We support continuing education by giving out $35K in scholarships each year. 2 for $5000 and 12 for $2000.
Beer Allowance
All team members of legal drinking age receive two crowler fills or one 4 pack of Pinthouse beer each week. Salaried team members receive two 4 packs.
Health Benefits
Hourly team members are eligible for health benefits after 1 year and averaging 30hrs/week. Pinthouse covers $200/month of your premiums.
Retirement
After working for a year and over 1000 hours during that year all team members are eligible to participate in our 401K program. Pinthouse matches 100% up to 6% of your contribution.
